Chris, Hove

The first phase of renovation of this house in Hove involved an improved layout (some structural work), new kitchen and full redecoration (we had fun with the colours!).  We created a welcoming living and dining room with a cosy bar corner, and hugely improved light and flow with a view through to the maturing garden.

Extensive damp and water penetration problems were successfully addressed with roof repairs, damp coursing and improved ventilation. Glazing and insulation were upgraded to improve energy efficiency and comfort, and reduce noise. A colour palette of rich jewel tones is complemented with luxurious biophilic detail, including bold floral wallpaper, oak joinery and light fittings in brass, wood and opal glass.
