The flat had fabulous original features such as ceiling mouldings and huge windows, but the space was not well used and there was very little storage. To maximise space, we moved the kitchen into the large lounge area, creating a second bedroom. In the oversized bedroom, we adjusted the space to accommodate a walk-in wardrobe with built in bespoke joinery and a luxurious ensuite with bath.

As the flat had a neutral colour scheme throughout, the client opted use of their study as an opportunity to colour drench throughout, alongside jute flooring to bring in more texture to the space

Elsewhere in the flat, we adjusted the layout of the bathroom to create a separate utility cupboard accessed from the hallway and a lovely main bathroom with walk in showering space. Joinery was fitted throughout along with beautiful panelling in the hallway, new doors and architraves to tie in with the few original doors of the flat and a new front door into the flat. The result is an outstanding interior and a good return on investment for the client to gain the additional bedroom and bathroom.

"For the bedroom a neutral colour scheme was selected to soften the space allowing light to flow through the big front windows and bringing in colour through pieces of decor and furniture."
